Solar 5k/15k

Join us for the 10th annual Solar 5k/15k, formerly known as the Polar Vortex, hosted by Team Brunazzi Events LLC. This low-key summer race will take place at 1902 Donner St Boston PA US - 15135. Registration will be open from 7am-8:00am, so make sure to arrive early to secure your spot. Due to construction at the trailhead, parking is limited, so carpooling is encouraged.

The course is a flat rails-to-trails trail on crushed limestone, making it perfect for runners of all levels. There will be a water stop at mile 1.55 for the 5k turn around and mile 4.66 for the 15k turn around. The event is sanctioned by USATF, so you can expect a well-organized and safe race.

The entry fees for the 5k range from $25.00 to $35.00, while the 15k ranges from $30.00 to $45.00. Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female overall, masters male and female, and top 3 in each age group from 10 and under to 70+. Please note that there will be no duplications, and medals will not be mailed.

We kindly ask that you do not wear headphones or bring pets to the event. The proceeds from the race will be announced at a later date. Team Brunazzi Events LLC has a zero refund policy, but you may transfer your race or distance at any time before the race. However, you may not change distances after the race has started. Preregistered runners will receive a shirt if they sign up by a specified date when the shirts are ordered. After that, extra shirts are first come, first serve. If you cannot make the race but still want your shirt, please have another runner pick it up for you. No shirts will be ordered after the race, and none will be mailed.
