Soles for Songs 5K

Race Info

The Soles for Songs 5K is an out-n-back 5K on the Panhandle rail-trail, located at Helicon Brewing in Oakdale, PA. All proceeds benefit the South Hills Children's Choir's scholarship fund.

This event is a great opportunity to set a 5K personal record with cool early spring temperatures and a flat course.

Registration & Packet Pickup

Registration and packet pickup starts at 8:00 AM on race day. The race starts at 9:00 AM EDT.

Cost

• Early registration (on or before 03/06/26): $30.00 (+ processing fee)
• Late registration (after 03/06/26): $40.00 (+ processing fee)

Parking

Free parking is available in the Helicon Brewing paved lot, with additional parking on the grass to the left and right of the entrance.

Swag

Early registrants receive a t-shirt and a "goodies" bag. Late registrants are not guaranteed a shirt and/or bag.

Aid Stations

An aid station at the start/finish will have water and food. A water-only aid station is located at the 0.8 and 2.3 mile markings.

Rules

Participants share the trail with others. Please keep to the right, allow others to pass, do not litter, and pick up after pets. Bikes are not permitted. Bibs must be visible on the front.

Food Options

Helicon Brewing opens at 11 am and has a food truck. Nearby options include The Diner, Pepperoncini's Pub & El Marro Restaurant.
