SPF: Shield, Prevent, Fight

The SPF: Shield, Prevent, Fight is a community event organized to promote education on melanoma and raise awareness and funds for dermatologic research. Funds raised will help advance melanoma research and dermatologic education.

IN-PERSON RACE DETAILS:

• Date: Saturday, April 18th, 2026
• Check-in: 9:00 AM
• Race Start: 10:00 AM
• Location: Walsingham Park Pavillion #7, 12615 102nd Ave, Largo, FL 33778, United States

The in-person race will be followed by an after-race party with food, fun activities, and opportunities to learn about melanoma. Free skin cancer screenings will be provided by Dermatology Residents from Bay Dermatology.

VIRTUAL RACE DETAILS:

• Run, jog, or walk a 5K from any location.
• Complete your run anytime between Saturday, April 11th, 2026 and Saturday, April 18th, 2026.
• Registration for the virtual 5K includes a T-shirt.
