STRC Trailfest at Newtown Battlefield SP

Location: Newtown Battlefield State Park, 2346 Co. Rt. 60, Elmira, NY

Organizer: Southern Tier Running Club (STRC)

Event Details: Challenge yourself on a beautiful 1-mile trail loop with approximately 300 feet of elevation gain per loop. This is a 3-hour timed event where you can run, hike, walk, or stroll as many loops as you can complete within the time limit. Loops must be completed before the 3-hour mark to count. You can stop at any time.

A fully stocked aid station will be available at the start/finish area.

Entry Fee: $65.00 for non-members. STRC members receive a discount ($60.00).

Registration closes: Sunday, July 5, 2026, at 11:59 PM ET.

Post-Run Social: Join fellow runners for a relaxed, family-friendly gathering with grilling (burgers, hot dogs, vegetarian/vegan options), a covered pavilion, picnic tables, games, a volleyball net, and horseshoe pits.
