Sugar Maple Festival 5k Run/Walk

Race Information

The Sugar Maple Festival 5k Run/Walk is presented by the Ohio River Road Runners Club (ORRRC), a 100% all-volunteer 501(c)(3) Ohio Non-Profit club dedicated to promoting running and supporting the local running community.

This is a "small race" event. It is free for ORRRC members, free for anyone 14 and under, and $10 for everyone else. Members can join the ORRRC for $35 per year, which includes over 20 races.

Expect a great team of volunteers, chip-timed finishes, refreshments, and potential age group awards. No shirts or finisher medals are provided.

• Registration Opens: March 1, 2026 at 6:00 AM EST

Course

The 5k course begins in front of the St. Pierre Education Center, follows paved bike paths and neighborhood streets, and ends on the Miami Valley South Stadium track.

Fees

• ORRRC Members: Free
• Non-Members (ages 15+): $10
• Non-Members (ages 14 and under): Free

Race day registration is available online until approximately 15 minutes before the race start time. It is recommended to arrive at least one hour before the race.

Awards

Awards are given for First Overall Male/Female, First Masters Male/Female (over 40), First Grand Master Male/Female (over 50), First Senior Male/Female (over 60), and various age group categories.
