Event Details

Be a SUPERHERO! and help fight the effects of child abuse in Lake County. Our 5K is Family Friendly and strollers are welcomed. The event is held at Lake County Fairgrounds, Crown Point, IN.

Schedule

• Check-in: 8:30 AM - 8:50 AM at Shelter #1
• 5K Run Start: 9:00 AM CDT
• Walkers and Strollers Start: 9:05 AM CDT

Registration & Fees

• Registration fee is $35 if registered by May 15, 2026.
• Registration fee is $40 day of race.
• Registration includes a t-shirt if registered by April 20 (adult sizes only).
• Registration ends May 15, 2026 at 11:59 PM CDT.
• The registration fee is tax deductible.

Awards & Prizes

• Awards for the overall male and overall female.
• Three best-dressed superheroes will receive a prize, voted on by 5K participants.

Beneficiary

All proceeds will go to benefit Royal Family Kids' Camp #270 and Kingdom Youth Camp, Merrillville. These camps provide a free week of camp for children ages 7-16 in the Lake County Foster System.
