SW Hope 5k

The SW Hope 5k is back at OES in SW Portland, starting with the kids' events at 9:45 AM and the 5k to follow at 10:15 AM on Saturday, April 11, 2026.

This event is part of the Southwest Hope Campaign, a collaborative effort by Southwest Portland Faith Organizations and Community Partners to support Neighborhood House’s Free Food Market. Since 2016, Missio Church has organized the SW Hope 5k.

The event aims to raise funds to purchase food for those in need. For $1, Neighborhood House can buy 4 pounds of food, significantly more than what $1 can buy in canned goods.

Participants can choose from several events:

• 2026 SW Hope 5k Run/Walk: Starts at 10:15 AM PDT.
• 2026 Kids Fun Run/Bunny Chase: Open to ages 10 and under, starts at 9:45 AM PDT.
• 2026 Virtual 5k
• 2026 Virtual Kids Run

T-shirts and hoodie sweatshirts are available for purchase.
