Texasman Triathlon
The Texasman Triathlon is an event for all levels, from beginners to veterans. It features an open water swim in beautiful Lake Ray Roberts, a rural bike course (roads open to vehicle traffic), and a shaded run course. The event concludes with a post-race party and pancakes.
Distances:
- Sprint: Swim (840 yards), Bike (17.5 miles), Run (3.1 miles)
- Olympic: Swim (1 mile), Bike (22 miles), Run (6.2 miles)
- X-50: Swim (1 mile), Bike (40 miles), Run (9 miles)
- X-50 Aquabike: Swim (1 mile), Bike (40 miles)
- Sprint Duathlon: Run (3.1 miles), Bike (17.5 miles), Run (3.1 miles)
Note: Roads are "chip seal". Lower tire pressure for a smoother ride. Wetsuits may be allowed, depending on water temperature.
