Just Beachy - 9 Mile Trail Run

This is the second annual event, taking place in Sheboygan's Kohler-Andrae State Park. It's a 9-mile trail run with a start time of 6:45 PM. The course offers a mix of terrain including sand, woodland trails, marsh, pine, and prairie trails, with a total elevation ascent of 509ft and 485ft of descent. Participants have 3 hours to complete the course, which is a 20-minute mile pace.

The course starts from the indoor shelter area, heads towards the playground, and then onto the Woodland Dunes trail, eventually reaching the shoreline. It includes sections on Beach Park Lane, S. 12th St./Co. Rd. V, and the Black River trail system. A cordwalk section is also part of the route, followed by a return to the beach and back to the start/finish line.

Important Notes:

• Park closes at 11 PM unless a campsite is reserved.
• Daily or annual park passes are required and must be displayed.
• The event is "cupless"; participants must provide their own vessel for water/electrolytes.
• Aid stations will be available only in the Black River section (mile 5.5ish) with water and electrolyte drink.
• Sunset is estimated at 7:54 PM, dark at 8:20 PM. Bring a light source if needed.

Packet Pick Up: Bibs can be picked up starting at 5:45 PM at the indoor shelter (Lot #P7).

Awards: Top 3 overall women and men receive podium awards. All finishers receive a commemorative token.

Donations: An opportunity to donate to the Friends of Kohler-Andrae State Park is available during registration check-out. A portion of profits will also be donated to this group.
