Event Overview
The Ascent 5K is a run, walk, or roll event hosted by The Phoenix Journey, a local nonprofit dedicated to empowering those with autoimmune diseases to change and sustain a new lifestyle. This year, we encourage group participants to rock their best costumes as we come together for a movement of resilience, community, and hope.
Race Details
Join us on Saturday, March 27, 2027, at Rob Fleming Park for a fun-filled day. Competitive, timed 5K with age-group awards. Kids Dash for ages 10 and under. Custom race shirt and finisher medal for all participants.
Schedule
- 7:00 AM – Packet Pick-Up
- 7:55 AM – Prayer & Pledge
- 8:00 AM – Kids Dash Start
- 8:15 AM – The Ascent 5K Start
- 9:15 AM – Course Closes

Your safety is our priority. In case of bad weather, the event start time may be delayed, and we have a strict no-refund policy. Changes may occur at the discretion of the Race Director.
