The Caving Cow 5K and Half Marathon

The Caving Cow 5K and Half Marathon will take place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, in McMinnville, TN. This event offers participants a unique trail running experience on Cardwell Mountain, featuring double and single track routes with rocks, roots, and elevation changes. A significant part of the race includes an out-and-back section through the Cumberland Caverns Cave, requiring a headlamp.

The 5K course is a single loop with 470 feet of gain, followed by an out-and-back through the cave to the finish line. The Half Marathon consists of 5 loops of the trail, concluding with an out-and-back through the cave.
