The Great Grape Race

The Great Grape Race is on Saturday, September 19, 2026, starting at 8:00 AM EDT in Winesburg, OH.

This event is perfect for all ages, featuring a scenic route through the picturesque farmland. Whether you’re a dedicated runner, a casual jogger, or just looking to enjoy a family-friendly event, this race is designed for everyone.

Granola bars, bananas and water will be available for runners at the finish line. The event concludes at Winesburg Park, where the Fall Festival will be taking place. After the race, there will be food trucks, baseball games, and various festival and reunion activities throughout the rest of the day.

Medals will be awarded to the top 3 male and female finishers. All participants will receive a voucher for an ice cream cone from Whitmer's General Store.

Packet Pickup: Begins the day of the race at 7 am.

Parking: In the field behind the playground at Winesburg park. Participants will need to drive past the park entrance on TR 671. They will enter the drive at 7771 TR 671 and park in the field past the house. There will be signs indicating where to park the day of the race.

Note: Shirt deadline is 2 weeks prior to the event. Anyone registering after this date will not be guaranteed a t-shirt.
