Welcome to the 6th Annual Haunted Forest Marathon Weekend! This family-friendly, themed event features a Full Marathon (26.2 miles), a Half Marathon (13.1 miles), and 5K (3.1 miles). The first mile is on the road, with the remainder of the race on hard-packed crushed limestone and blacktop. The Marathon has a total of 57 feet of elevation over the 26.2-mile distance and is a Boston Qualifier.

Events:

• Marathon: 26.2 miles. Starts at 8:00 AM EDT. Registration opens October 31, 2025. Open to ages 16-99.
• Half Marathon: 13.1 miles. Starts at 8:00 AM EDT. Registration opens October 31, 2025. Open to ages 12-99.
• 5K: 3.1 miles. Starts at 8:25 AM EDT. Registration opens October 31, 2025. Open to ages 3-99.
• Virtual Marathon: 26.2 miles. Registration opens December 1, 2025.
• Virtual Half Marathon: 13.1 miles. Registration opens December 1, 2025.

Course Information:

Marathon Course: Starts in Downtown Canal Fulton. First 1.2 miles on the road, then onto the Towpath Trail. USATF Certified Course - OH24034JHP.

Half Marathon Course: Starts in Downtown Canal Fulton. First 1.2 miles on the road, then onto the Towpath Trail. USATF Certified Course - OH24035JHP.

5K Course: A new and faster course will be unveiled in 2026.

Awards:

Awards are handed out on a rolling basis. Categories include Top 5 Overall Men/Women, Masters, Grand Masters, Seniors, and Age Groups.
