The Hoot Half Marathon & 10k Trail Race
Join us for a challenging and rewarding trail running experience! This event features both a 10k and a half marathon, taking you through the scenic Rocks and Roots Trail at Alum Creek State Park.
When: Sunday, September 6th, 2026. All races start at 8:00am.
Where: The Rocks and Roots Trail at Alum Creek State Park. (3993 Hollenback Rd Lewis Center, OH 43035)
Courses:
- Hoot Half Marathon: Approximately 13.1 miles
- 10k: 6.2 miles
Cost: Prices vary depending on registration date. See website for details.
What you get: Epic trail race experience! Event Shirt, Event Medal.
Packet Pickup: Fleet Feet Sports in Lewis Center (before race week) or race site at 7:00am on race day.
Course Details: The course layout is subject to change. View the Rocks And Roots Trail Map for more information.
Cut-off Time: The course closes at 12:00pm. Half Marathon participants must begin their 2nd lap before 9:45am and their final lap before 11:30am.
