The Turkey Trot has been a cherished tradition in Springfield Township, initially organized by the Spartan Track & Field Alumni. In 2019, it was passed to The MIP Foundation to support its mission of helping adolescents and young adults facing cancer.

The main events are as follows:

• 5K Run starts at 8:30 am; Bib pickup from 7:30 am.
• 1 Mile Fun Walk starts immediately after the 5K runners.

Participants are encouraged to start fundraising teams to maximize the impact of their contributions towards mental wellness and support programs for young cancer patients.
