About The Running Hawaiian 5K Run/Walk
The Running Hawaiian 5K is a memorial race and a celebration of Aidan Keahi Mendoza's life, a member of the Class of 2017 and captain of the Cross Country and Track & Field teams at Socastee High School. Aidan lost his life in a surfing accident on December 26, 2016. Proceeds from this event will fund a scholarship opportunity in his name, sponsored by the Keahi Mendoza Foundation.
