Thunder Chicken Squatch Trail Jamboree

This trail party is held at the beautiful Stokes State Forest in Branchville, NJ. Runners and hikers of all ages and paces can sign up for the 5K, 10K, 10K Ruck, or the 17 miler.

Rucking Division: New for the 10K with Lightweight (15 lbs) and Heavyweight (30 lbs) divisions. Requires a pack or ruck.

Trail Party Details:

• All events start at 9am; check-in 8:15am-8:45am.
• 6-hour cut-off for all events.
• 17-miler must reach mile 7.65 aid station by 11:20am.
• Pacers/guides allowed for those over 60 and AWD (athletes with disabilities).

Squatch Kids Club: 15% off for kids under 19 with code SQUATCHKIDSCLUB. Free entries available for youth athletes. Family discounts available via email.

Course Description: Much of the course is technical with rocks and roots. The 17-miler has ~1,500 ft of gain, the 10K loop has ~600 ft gain (closer to 6.6 miles), and the 5K has ~325 ft of gain.

Discounts: 20% off for active duty military, veterans, teachers, and hospital workers. 10% off for those over 60, NY-NJ Trail Conference members, and South Mountain Conservancy members. Email for codes.

Refunds/Deferrals: No refunds. Deferrals available under specific conditions (e.g., >21 days notice, injury with volunteering, waitlist filling). Pregnancy, adoption, and postpartum policy offers up to three years deferral.
