About the Event:
Born from the tragedy of 9/11, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation carries forward a legacy of courage and heroism. Built upon the mantra, “While we have time, LET US DO GOOD,” the Foundation supports our nation’s fallen and catastrophically injured first responders, military heroes, and their families.

What is a Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk?
The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001 after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers. We honor all of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 and support our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty!

This will be the 1st annual and official Tunnel to Towers event here in Daytona Beach at Latitude Margaritaville, and we are excited to bring our community together to honor first responders, our servicemen and servicewomen, and raise funds for the Tunnel to Towers - In the Line of Duty - programs.

Distance: This is a 5K (3.1 miles) to walk or run this event.

Important Note: This is a residents-only event. Residents are welcome to run, walk, or simply enjoy the race experience.

Packet Pickup:
TIME: Friday, April 10, 2026 3:00pm-5:00pm
LOCATION: Latitude Margaritaville Town Center

You can also pick up your packet on race day at the venue prior to the start of the race. Registration opens at 3:30pm at the Town Center.

Registration:
Online registration remains open until the race starts. If you wait to register on event day, we do not guarantee tshirt sizes but will do our best to accommodate. Online registration will remain open through Saturday, April 11th and close promptly at the start time of the race.

Awards:
There will be finisher medals for all participants. There will also be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place placement awards.

Amenities:
A water station will be available along the route and there will be water available at the start/finish line.

Permitted Items: Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted. Firefighter turnout gear and military backpacks are also permitted.

Refund Policy: We do not provide refunds for the event regardless of if you cannot make the date or the foundation needs to cancel the event for extenuating circumstances. Registration may be transferred to another person that resides at Margaritaville.
