Welcome to Vampire Run 2026 - Season 7, a 5k run/walk event created in 2020. This event continues in loving memory of the organizers' parents, who passed away due to cancer. All net proceeds go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

In-Person Event: Saturday, October 24, 2026

Virtual Event (Spirit Runners): October 1 through October 24, 2025

This is a USATF certified 5k and a Peachtree Road Race Qualifier. It is also a 501c3 Not-for-profit organization, making donations tax deductible.

Join us for Atlanta's best Halloween-time fun run, themed around vampires and other spooky characters. The race starts and finishes at Legion Field, located at 3173 Mill Street, Covington, GA 30014. Participants can crawl, walk, or run.

Covington, Georgia, also known as Mystic Falls, is a fitting location for a Halloween run, being the fictional home to popular TV series and films like The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, Legacies, and Goosebumps.

A VIRTUAL version, known as Spirit Runners, is also available for participation from anywhere during October. Spirit runners will receive a bib, medal, and finisher shirt.

The live event route passes by many famous filming locations from popular TV series and horror films shot in the area. The route is marked with over 20 photo spots, with volunteers available to take pictures.

For Runners and Walkers: This is a certified, timed run that is a Peachtree Road Race qualifier. The route is described as fun and flat, ideal for achieving a good time, with typically amazing Fall weather.

For Fans and Halloween Lovers: The route is designed as a Vampire Diaries walking tour within a 5k, featuring numerous photo opportunities and potential appearances by spooky guests.
