Wild Horse Gravel

The Wild Horse Gravel event features several courses for participants. The event spans two days, May 16-17, 2026, in De Beque, Colorado.

Cycling Courses:

• Mustang (65 Mile): A formidable 65-mile route with approximately 5,500 feet of gain, weaving through remote and rugged terrain.
• Gunslinger (46 Miles): A demanding 46-mile backcountry gravel route with approximately 4,000 feet of elevation gain.
• Hoedown (30 Miles): The shortest option at 30 miles, featuring relentless elevation changes and intense terrain.

Running Course:

• Wild Horse Half (13.1 Miles): A half marathon run on Sunday, set against the backdrop of the Western Colorado desert.

Challenge Courses (Combine Cycling and Running):

• Wild Horse Mustang Challenge (78 Miles): Ride Saturday's Mustang course and run Sunday's half marathon.
• Wild Horse Gunslinger Challenge (59 Miles): Ride Saturday's Gunslinger course and run Sunday's Half Marathon.
• Wild Horse Hoedown Challenge (43 Miles): Ride Saturday's Hoedown course and run Sunday's half marathon.
