Purple Lights

Purple Lights is a social running group founded in November 2011 in Singapore. The group meets weekly to run at beautiful routes and conclude it with a meal. The name Purple Lights was adapted from an old military song sung during route marches to keep spirits and morale high. The group has members from diverse professional backgrounds but all share a common love for running and eating. The group ranges from first-time runners to veteran marathoners and does not define themselves by speed, time or distance.
