175 Celebration Run/Walk

Come join us for a fun-filled 1 mile or 5K run/walk event as we celebrate Darlington's 175th Birthday! Lace up your sneakers and hit the beautiful trails with friends and family. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a leisurely stroll, this event is perfect for all fitness levels. Enjoy the fresh air, scenic views, and good company as we commemorate this special milestone together. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to be part of our birthday celebration. Registration

Registration is FREE for all participants. Register ahead of time online or on the same day (all participants must be registered for the waiver agreement). T-shirts are available for $5. Pre-ordered t-shirts can be picked up on July 24-26th at The Bank of New Glarus, Formerly First National Bank at Darlington. A limited number of t-shirts will be available to purchase on the same day as the event.

Schedule

8 a.m.: Same-day registration and check-in. 9 a.m.: Run/Walk will start. 5K runners will line up first, followed by 5K walkers. 1 mile walkers will line up last.

Terms and Conditions

By registering for this event, each participant agrees to the following terms: 1. That I assume all responsibility for any and all damages to, or theft of, my personal property or any bodily injury (including death) that may occur to me, and further, I assume responsibility for property damage and bodily injury (including death) that I may cause to others, in each case arising or resulting from, incidental to, or as a consequence of, my participation in the 175 Celebration Run/Walk. 2. That I, for myself, my heirs, my executor, and administrators, release and hold harmless from and waive all claims, damages, and rights of action, present or future, whether the same be known or unknown, anticipated or unanticipated, foreseen or unforeseen, arising or resulting from, incident to, or as a consequence of, my participation in the 175 Celebration Run/Walk., which I may now or hereafter have against The Darlington Chamber Main Street, any business or companies along the route, and any and all sponsors and volunteers for said event, and the respective directors, employees, and agents of all the foregoing. 3. That I grant permission for use of my name and/or picture in any broadcast, photograph, video, or other account of 175 Celebration Run/Walk and The Darlington Chamber Main Street. That I am aware of the physical demands and hazards of participating in a walking event such as the 175 Celebration Run/Walk.
