19th YPD Blue 5K Run \ Walk For A Reason

Location: Skipper Chowder House, 152 South Shore Drive, South Yarmouth, MA 02664
Benefiting: Yarmouth Police Relief Association and National Law Enforcement Memorial Fund.
Event Schedule:
- Registration opens: 9:00 am
- Kid’s Race: 10:15 am
- 5K Race: 11:00 am
Courses & Pricing:
- 5k Run/Walk:
- Distance: 3.1 Miles
- Price: $25.00 - $30.00 (Price increases after May 16, 2026 at 11:59pm EDT)
- Kids Fun Run (12 & Under):
- Distance: 1 Mile
- Price: $10.00 (Registration ends May 17, 2026 at 11:59pm EDT)
Registration & Bib/T-Shirt Pickup:
- Online Registration: Before May 4th: Adults $25.00, Kids $10.00. T-Shirt is $20.00.
- After May 4th: No on-line t-shirt orders accepted. T-shirts sales limited on race day.
- Bib / T-Shirt Pickup:
- Friday May 15th: 5-8 pm @ Yarmouth Police Dept. (340 Higgins Crowell Rd. West Yarmouth Ma 02673)
- Saturday May 16th: 10 am-2 pm @ Marathon Sports (484 Station Ave. South Yarmouth Ma. 02664)
Awards:
1st Overall male and female. Top 3 men and women in age groups: 13-under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
Team Competitions:
"First Responders Cup" (open to all police/Fire/EMS departments on or off the cape).
Additional Activities:
Fitness Challenge. Lunch served to all registered participants. Lunch tickets for non-registered participants: $10.
