About the Event

Event Overview

Bahamas Roadmasters, organizers of The Bahamas Half & 10K, are pleased to announce their fourteenth annual Bahamas Half on Sunday, November 22nd, 2026. This event promises a spectacular day of road racing in the heart of Nassau, Bahamas, including a Half Marathon, Half Marathon three-person relay, 10K, and 5K Family Run.

Similar to previous years, the flat course will feature scenic, oceanfront routes starting at Arawak Cay, Junkanoo Beach, and continuing through neighboring West Bay Street. Each participant will receive a finisher's medal upon crossing the finish line.

Race Details

  • Race Start Time: Half Marathon and Half Marathon Relay at 5:00 AM, 10K at 5:15 AM, 5K at 5:30 AM.
  • Start Line Location: Western Esplanade, a few hundred yards west of downtown Nassau. Participants are advised to arrive early to allow time for gear check, warm-up, and getting to starting corrals.
  • Finish Line Location: The start and finish lines are at the same location.
  • Packet Pickup: Saturday, November 21st, at the race site, Western Esplanade. All participants must collect their packets on this date; there is NO RACE DAY PACKET PICKUP. ID is required. You may collect packets on behalf of other participants.
  • Registration Deadline: Midnight, Tuesday, November 17th, 2026. There is no race day registration.
  • Relay Exchanges: The first relay exchange is at Bahamar Boulevard South. The second exchange is opposite Florarama Cable Beach.
  • Gear Check: A tent, manned by a Roadmaster, will be provided for gear check. Your BIB will have your gear check stub; detach it and attach it to your bag. You may use the bag provided at packet pickup or your own bag. Bahamas Roadmasters is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
  • Hydration Stations: There will be 5 water stations along the course with water and Powerade.
  • Ambulance: An ambulance will be driving along the course, and a medical tent will be available at the race village for any medical issues.
  • Safety: Runners wearing headphones must remain aware of race officials, traffic, and other runners. Any participant who fails to follow directions from race officials is subject to removal from the race course for their own safety and the safety of other participants.
  • Race Results: Will be posted on www.bahamashalf242.com.
  • Parking: Parking is available in the area surrounding the race site (park at your own risk).
  • Awards: Age category awards ceremony for the 10K and Half Marathon, and 1st, 2nd, 3rd relay awards will begin at 7:45 AM. (No 5K age category awards).
  • Finishers Medals: Every participant who crosses the finish line will receive a finisher's medal.
  • Port-O-Lets: Available in the race village, roadside near Goodmans Bay East, and northern roadside near Mile 7.
  • 2026 Race Charity Recipient, Sponsors, and Race Village Vendors: To be announced.
