2026 DALMAC - Dick Allen Lansing to MACkinaw Bicycle Tour

The 2026 DALMAC (Dick Allen Lansing to Mackinaw) Bicycle Tour is Michigan’s annual, fully supported, epic end-of-summer bicycle camping tour. Routes wind northward from Michigan State University on country roads and through quaint small towns, ending in historic and beautiful Mackinaw City on Sunday, September 6th. Additional routes beginning in Gladwin, Grayling and Waters also conclude in the shadow of the Mighty MAC in Mackinaw City. Each route varies in distance, providing just the right challenge for all bicyclists. The 55th DALMAC will once again include a gravel route.

Riders enjoy a fully supported tour that includes:

• Mostly low-traffic roads with spectacular scenery, including Lake Michigan and the Mackinac Bridge
• Rolling hills and downhill thrills
• Ample opportunities to enjoy cookies, ice cream and homemade pie
• A variety of breweries en route and in host communities
• Friendly support vehicles (SAGs), if needed
• Breakfast and dinner, with limited vegetarian options
• Overnight camping, shower facilities, and baggage shuttles
• Mobile bicycle mechanics

Routes and Distances:

• 5 Day West: Approximately 325 miles. Highlights: Lake Michigan and the Tunnel of Trees.
• 5 Day East (Road or Gravel): 286 or 312 miles, depending on option for Day 5.
• 4 Day West: Approximately 314 miles. Highlights: Lake Michigan and the Tunnel of Trees. Option to ride quad century.
• 3 Day East (Road or Gravel): Last three days of the 5 Day East route, approximately 169 miles with an option for 195 miles.
• 2 Day East (Road, Trail or Gravel): Last two days of the 5 Day East route, options for 84 (trail), 104 or 130 miles (road or gravel).

Important Dates:

• Deadline to purchase DALMAC clothing or SWAG: June 23, 2026.
• Deadline to register and purchase a return bus ticket: July 31, 2026.
• Cancellations allowed until July 31st, subject to a $100 fee.
