2026 Geo Foundation 4th Annual 5K Run & 1 Mile Walk

Race Details

The 2026 Geo Foundation 4th Annual 5K Run & 1 Mile Walk will take place on Sunday, May 17, 2026, in Bloomfield, NJ. The event aims to honor George "Geo" Batikha and support youth and young adults diagnosed with cancer.

All proceeds will benefit the Geo Foundation's Community Fund (scholarships for high school students) and Family Assistance Fund (support for families with children undergoing cancer treatment at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital).

Schedule

• 8:00 AM: Registration
• 8:50 AM: Welcome Ceremony
• 9:00 AM: Race Start (Runners first, followed by walkers)
• Approx. 9:45 AM: Closing Ceremony

Courses

• 5K Run: Marked and timed, approximately three laps around Brookdale Park.
• 1 Mile Walk: One lap around Brookdale Park.

Awards

Awards will be given to the top finishers (1st-3rd place) in various age categories for both male and female participants, including special awards for participants 10 and under.

Food & Refreshments

Bagels, bananas, oranges, and acai bowls will be available.
