About the Event

Greater Sacramento Polar Plunge & Runs

Join us for the Greater Sacramento Polar Plunge & Runs on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Granite Bay Main Beach at Folsom Lake. You choose the 5K timed trail run or the 1K fun run/walk and enjoy a great race. You can do the Run or do the Run and Plunge, it is completely up to you.

The funds raised will support the sports, health and educational programming that Special Olympics provides for free to children and adults with intellectual disabilities. All participants will receive a commemorative medal. Stick around after the runs, raise an additional $125 and join in the fun of the Plunge. You'll receive a cool Polar Plunge t-shirt and lunch.
