2026 Ohio Cross Country Middle School State Championships

Event Overview

Join us for the 20th Anniversary of the Annual Ohio Cross Country Middle School and Elementary State Championships on October 25, 2026, at Dublin Jerome High School. This event brings together some of Ohio's greatest young cross country runners.

What Makes Us Different?

• Coaches receive zippered team bags with race essentials.
• Every runner gets a NEOPRENE WRISTBAND printed with a personal message telling runners to 'Be Legendary!'.
• 1200 pairs of Ohiocrosscountry.org sunglasses are given away.
• The spectacular, spectator-friendly trail winds through woods and finishes on a straight away in front of a cheering crowd in the football stadium.
• Top 15 finishers in every race receive iconic custom-made medals and large Willy Wonka Chocolate Bars (with a chance for Golden Tickets for a free T-shirt).
• Top 3 finishers in every race receive a GIANT 5-pound Gummy Bear.
• One of the top 15 finishers in each race wins a large Gumball Machine.
• Individual championship medals are awarded to EVERY member of the winning team.
• Ohio's fastest boy and girl are crowned 'Rock Stars of Ohio Cross Country' and receive large trophies, jeweled crowns, and championship rings. In 2026, the fastest boy will also get a 12-inch Flash statue, and the fastest girl will receive an exact replica of Dorothy’s Ruby Slippers.
