Description

Come and enjoy the 'Run Like the Wind' races in Westport, WA, by entering a 5K run/walk, a 10K run or a Half Marathon run on the scenic Westport Light Trail and beyond. Our courses are rolling and fairly flat. All the races will start at the marina, go down and around the Fishermen's Memorial and then head for the paved trail around Half Moon Bay and through Westhaven State Park. A little farther down the trail, the 5K folks will turn around and head back to the starting point. Those running the 10K will appreciate the ocean views as they continue south on the trail and then run around the Westport Lighthouse before returning to the marina. After running around the lighthouse, the Half Marathon participants will follow the signs to the beach where there will be 5.7 miles of running in the sand before returning to the marina. It's an event for everyone and truly a "wind-in-your-hair" experience! The Westport-Grayland Chamber of Commerce welcomes you and your family for summertime fun!

• No 'Day of Race' registration

Packet Pick-up times

• Saturday, July 12th, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM
• Sunday, July 13th, 2025 from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM
• Location – In front of Junk Queens/Tackle Box, 2681 N Westhaven Dr, Westport, WA 98595
• Packet Includes – Bib with timing chip, t-shirt (while supplies last), and other swag

Course Information & Start Times

• All races start and finish in front of the Junk Queens/Tackle Box
• 9:00 AM – Half Marathon
• 9:15 AM – 10K
• 9:30 AM – 5K
• Course will close at 1:00 PM and course marshalling and timing will stop at this time.

Awards

• Awards will be handed out as first place finishers finish!
• Awards will be presented to 1st place winners, male, female and non-binary in the following races: Half Marathon, 10K Run, 5K Run/Walk
• Prizes and Awards courtesy of our generous sponsors and the Westport-Grayland Chamber of Commerce

Shirt Information

T-shirts will be provided to all runners at packet pick-up. 5K and 10K participants receive a short sleeve shirt and Half Marathon participants get a long sleeve shirt. Please indicate your size when registering.
