2026 Run the Highlands 5K and Family Trail Walk

Race Details:

• 7:45 AM: Streets close
• 8:00 AM: Warm-up begins
• 8:30 AM: 5K Race* begins across from the Lake Highlands North Aquatic Center
• 8:45 AM: 1 mile Family Trail Walk begins
• 9:00 AM-11:00 AM: Carnival!

• Thursday, April 23rd Location: Vector Brewing (9850 Walnut Hill Ln #405) Time: 3 - 7 PM
• Friday, April 24th Location: Vector Brewing (9850 Walnut Hill Ln #405) Time: 2 - 6 PM
• Race Day, Saturday, April 25th Location: LHJWL Tent (near starting line) Time: 7:30 - 8:20 AM

Parking and Road Closures:

Map of the race route, parking, and road closures here. Access to parking at LHHS will be closed when roads close at 7:45 am. Parking is also available on neighborhood streets. Roads along the race route will reopen at 10:00 am; Church Road between the High School and Rec Center will reopen at 11:00am.
