2026 Savannah Mile ~ 1 Mile ~ 200 Club

Race Information

The 2026 Savannah Mile returns for its 15+ year, scheduled for 8 a.m. Saturday, May 16, 2026, as part of National Law Enforcement Week. This event raises vital funds for the families of fallen heroes in our community.

The course starts at the south end of Forsyth Park, runs down Drayton Street, and finishes on Broughton Street.

Runners and walkers of all fitness levels are invited to participate in six heats:

• Heat A (Run Fast): For runners aiming for under 8 minutes.
• Heat B (Run for Fun): For runners/joggers with an 8-12 minute mile pace.
• Heat C (Run & Walk): For a relaxed pace (12+ minutes mile) with run/walk intervals.
• Heat D (Family Fun Run): Open to families, strollers, and pets.
• Memory Walk: For families of fallen first responders to walk in memory of loved ones.
• Heroes Heat: For all first responders and military (full gear optional, but 30-pound minimum gear required for the "Full Gear All Out Flag" competition).

All heats are timed, except the Memory Walk. The event concludes with an awards celebration in Johnson Square with complimentary food and beverages.

100% of proceeds go to the 200 Club to assist families of first responders who die or suffer critical injuries in the line of duty.

Packet Pickup

A late fee of $5.00 will be charged for packet pickup on the day of the race.
