2027 San Marcos Half Marathon 10k and 5k

Race 2 of 4 of the Texas Hill Country Half Marathon series.

Formerly known as "Moe's Better Half", this historic half marathon ventures through a beautiful prairie landscape with infamous rolling hills. The start and finish are located in the Tanger Outlet Mall parking lot, where festivities and an after-party will take place. The motto is "Come for the race, stay for the party!"

This event is located in San Marcos, TX, midway between San Antonio and Austin, offering plenty of activities for the rest of the day including dining, shopping, and live music.

START TIMES & ROUTES:

• 13.1 (Half Marathon): 7:30 AM CST - Route Link
• 10K & 5K Competitive Walkers: 8:15 AM CST - Route Link
• 5K: 8:35 AM CST - Route Link
• 0.05k Fun Run: 8:40 AM CST

Packet Pick-up (PPU):

  TIME: 4-7pm (Day before race day)
• Race Day (Sunday): 6:30am until race start at Tanger Outlets

Awards:

All finishers receive a medal. Award categories include 1st – 4th for all distances. Age categories range from 14 and under to 90+.

Refund Policy:

No Refunds. Transfers are available for a fee: $20 up to two days before the race, $30 the day before. No transfers after race day.
