24th Annual Beaver Volunteer Fire Department (Heritage Valley Health System) 5K Run-Walk-Team Event, 10K and Toddler Trot

Event Overview

Celebrate 24 years of running with the Beaver Volunteer Fire Department 5K/10K Race, the longest continual and most attended organized race in Beaver County. Experience a scenic route through the historic neighborhoods of Beaver, Pennsylvania, a 'Tree City USA' boasting broad, tree-lined streets, a thriving downtown, public parks, and views overlooking the majestic Ohio River.

The Beaver Volunteer Fire Department proudly co-sponsors this event with Heritage Valley Health Systems. New this year is the Team Event option, available when signing up for the 5K Race.

Schedule

• Saturday, May 30, 2026
• 10K Race: 8:00 AM EDT
• Toddler Trot: 9:00 AM EDT
• 5K Race/Walk/Team Event: 9:30 AM EDT

Start times may slightly vary depending on the 10K race finish. For safety reasons, dogs are not permitted on the course. Intersections are manned by police, firefighters, and community volunteers.

Registration & Packet Pick-Up

• Friday, May 29, 2026: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Race Day (Saturday, May 30, 2026): 6:30 AM – 8:45 AM (10K registration closes at 7:45 AM)

Location for pick-up: Beaver Volunteer Fire Department, 165 Market Street, Beaver, PA 15009.

Amenities & Awards

Chip Timing service is provided by Miles of Smiles Timing Services. Water and fruit will be available at the Finish Line, with other food vendors scheduled to appear. An awards ceremony will commence once results are available.

Awards Categories:

• Trophies: Top three Overall men and women, and Masters (40+) male & female for 5K & 10K Races.
• Medals: Top three men and women in each age group for 5K & 10K Races, and all children 12 & under.

Age groups include: 12 & Under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Over.

Adult or Youth Size shirt size is guaranteed with registration through Sunday, May 10, 2026.

Walkers Information

All walkers will be timed as part of the 5K race and are eligible for 5K age group awards. No separate awards are given for walkers.

Important Notes

In the event of dangerous weather, the race may be delayed but will be held on the same day. No refunds will be issued for any reason.
