The 2nd Annual GROW Together 5K Run and Walk is a community celebration of connection, stewardship, and collective impact. Held at Two Rivers Park in Donelson, this family-friendly event brings neighbors together to support GROW's work as Nashville’s first public food forest and living learning landscape. Funds raised through the race directly support land stewardship, free and low-cost educational programming, and improvements across the GROW site that make the park more accessible and engaging for the entire community. Whether you run, walk, volunteer, or cheer from the sidelines, your participation helps nurture the land, strengthen local community, and invest in a healthier future for generations to come.

What are you running/walking for? - The GROW Together 5K directly supports the care, growth, and sustainability of GROW’s public garden and learning spaces at Two Rivers Regional Park. Funds raised through this fundraiser are used to purchase fruit-bearing trees, vegetables, and herbs for the public food forest and garden. They also help fund free and low-cost educational programming for the community, along with essential site maintenance and ongoing improvements that keep the land accessible, safe, and thriving. GROW is 100% volunteer-run and relies entirely on fundraisers and donations from the public to operate. Every dollar raised goes back into the land and the programs that serve families, students, and community members throughout the year. The mission of GROW is to serve as a living laboratory where the community can learn regenerative land management and sustainable farming practices that can be applied in everyday life. Just as importantly, GROW is a place to build meaningful connections, fostering a strong community network rooted in care for the land and for one another. Your participation helps ensure this space continues to grow, educate, and inspire for years to come.

What to expect on Race Day

• 8:00 AM – Packet Pickup: Pick up your race bib and shirt at check-in tent.
• 9:00 AM – Welcome & Warm-Up: Come early and grab hot coffee and light snack. We will kick off with announcements.
• 9:15 AM – Race Begins: Hit the greenway for a beautiful, family-friendly run, walk or roll through Two Rivers Park.

Post-Race Celebration

The race doesn’t end at the finish line! Other family-friendly activities happening after the race include: Meet the GROW goats that help us restore Two Rivers Park.

Race Swag & Packet Pick-up

Packet pickup will be held the morning of the race at 8:00 AM. You will receive fun goodies from local businesses and a shirt! To guarantee your shirt is ready for race day, be sure to register by April 24, 2026. If you register after April 24th, you will pick up your shirt at a later date.

Parking will be at Two Rivers Middle School which is a short walk to the GROW Enrichment site. The address of the pick up location is Two Rivers Park specific because GROW does not have an individual address within the park. Please look for signage directing you to parking and the start of the event.
