Event Details
The 37th Annual Kenneth Dolan Memorial 5k Run takes place on Sunday, June 7, 2026, in Prospect Park, Brooklyn, New York. All runners are welcome to join for the free after-party featuring family activities, food, drinks, and music.
A Special Thought
This race honors Kenny Dolan, who tragically passed away on March 14, 1990. The Kenny Dolan Memorial Fund at Iona University, established from this race, assists students in need of financial support for their education.
Course Information
The 5K course starts and finishes at Bartel Pritchard Square (15th Street & Prospect Park West). The race begins at 10 a.m., rain or shine, with Pee Wee races to follow.
Awards
- Top Five Male and Female Overall: Cash Prizes of $150, $100, $50, $50, and $50.
- Top five in each age group (8 and under, 9-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+, racewalkers).
- First Iona University Graduate/Undergraduate Male and Female.
- First NYPD, FDNY, SDNY, Teacher, and Clydesdale Divisions, Male and Female.
Teams
Awards for Top Three Male & Female Teams (3-person teams) and Top Masters’ Team Male and Female. Team name must be declared on the application.
Pee Wee Fun Run
All Pee Wee competitors will receive a medal. Races include: 100-yard run (4 and under), 220-yard run (8 and under), 440-yard run (10 and under), and 440-yard run (12 and under).

In-person registration is available at Holy Name of Jesus Church School Yard, Brooklyn, New York 11215:
- Saturday, June 6: 4 – 7 p.m.
- Sunday, June 7: 8 - 9:45 a.m.

Held at Holy Name Church School Yard.
