3rd Annual PAWS Against Domestic Violence Pet Walk

Join us for the 3rd Annual PAWS Against Domestic Violence Pet Walk on October 8th at North Park in Pittsburgh, PA. This event is organized by Crisis Center North's PAWS for Empowerment program, which aims to empower victims of domestic violence and raise awareness about the issue.

Participants can choose from various courses, including a 5K walk with a pet and a swag bag, a 5K walk with a pet (no swag bag), and a virtual pet walk for DV Awareness Month. There are also options for additional participants and minors.

In addition to the walk, there will be pet and non-pet related vendors, as well as a pet costume contest with prizes. All proceeds from the event will go directly to the PAWS program, which provides emotional support, legal advocacy, education, and emergency animal care stipends for families impacted by domestic violence.
