Join us for the 3rd Annual You Matter Juneteenth Freedom 5K Walk/Run, a powerful community celebration honoring Juneteenth, freedom, resilience, and collective impact. This event brings together runners, walkers, families, and supporters from across the DMV to move with purpose and invest in the next generation. Whether you’re chasing a PR, walking in reflection, or showing up to support a meaningful cause then this race is for YOU.

Location: Fort Hunt Park - 8999 Fort Hunt Rd Pavilion B

A portion of the proceeds from this event will directly support the You Matter Scholarship Program, aiming to award (10) scholarships of $500 each to college-bound high school seniors from D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.

Scholarship Application Deadline: Monday, June 1, 2026, 11:59 pm (EST)

Awards will be given to the Top 3 Male and Female Finishers.
