About the Event

Race Info

The 5th annual FCSN 5 Alarm 5K Run to Remember takes place on Thursday, April 23, 2026, in Indianapolis' White River State Park, during FDIC International. The run/walk begins at 6:00 PM EDT and is open to participants of all levels. The course is flat, fast, and closed, winding around the scenic Indianapolis Canal, with an option for timing.

Register by Thursday, April to guarantee a high-quality shirt. The first 500 registrants will receive a commemorative coin.

The event is dedicated to the memory of Chief Bobby Halton. The Halton family will award the Bobby Halton award to the top fundraiser, which includes a free trip to FDIC (conference costs, lodging, and transportation). To be considered, participants must sign up as a fundraiser and invite friends to donate before January 30, 2025, with a minimum donation of $1,000.

Proceeds directly support FCSN's mission to provide crucial resources, support, training, and guidance to firefighters and EMS providers facing a cancer diagnosis.
