The Ohio Parks 5 X 5 Challenge (25K: Dayton Area)
- Running
- 25 km
The crew at Wolf Pack Adventures is excited to bring you this unique event along the beautiful Little Miami River. Run as many 5K loops as you can in 6 hours at John Bryan State Park! Complete at least four loops to officially complete the race. Your official race time will be recorded as the time you complete your fourth loop. Results will be recorded as the total number of loops each participant runs in 6 hours. Whoever runs the most loops in 6 hours is the 6 Hours of Power champion.
John Bryan State Park is distinguished by its remarkable limestone gorge, which was cut by the Little Miami State and National Scenic River. The gorge, which is a National Natural Landmark, offers hikers splendid views from the trail.
The course will be marked with color coded flags, cones, and arrows. There is no water station along the route. You will have aid station support at the Start/Finish line before you start your next loop. This is a trail and mixed terrain event. Be sure to include similar terrain on your training runs!
