8 Hours at the Farm

Steep Endurance presents a timed event on a rolling country type course at Gurski Farm/Williams Park in Brookfield, CT. There's plenty of single track and rolling farm trails. This type of event you get to see your fellow competitors quite a bit in an awesome trail running community environment. There's even a 4 hour option for those of you that want to get your feet wet a bit in an event like this. NEW for 2026, we’ve added a 5K/5K Canicross event.

A portion of your registration will go to two local non-profits in Brookfield.

Refund Policy: There will no refunds and/or no transfers of your registration or bib to any other person. Entry fees collected are used to develop and produce the event, starting well in advance of the race date--including course preparation, race supplies, permits, and administration.

Swag/Awards: We have some great swag/awards for the event. Finisher medals from Ragged Cuts plus plenty of goodies from our sponsors! Awards for Top 3 podium for Overall Male/Female in each distance.

Course Description

8 Hour/4 Hour runners will course run a continuous 4 mile loop with a mix of single track and farm trails. The terrain is fairly rolling with nothing too technical. The new 5K and 5K Canicross will run a modified version of this course.

Post Race Celebration: You’ve just finished an epic run! Enjoy your accomplishment, sit back, relax, and don’t forget to cheer on all the runners coming in behind you! We will have plenty of food throughout the day for everyone plus some awesome beverages from Athletic Brewing Company as well as other non-alcoholic offerings.
