Aztlan XC Classic

Race Info

Aztlan XC Classic was established in 1976. It is a competitive cross country style course that has been opened to all levels of ability. This iconic longstanding event has featured nationally recognized runners. The event is now more youth focused while at the same time showcasing elite athletes competing for prize money. The Los Angeles Parks Foundation is the official beneficiary of this event alongside Aztlan Athletics Foundation. LA Parks Foundation has been the host for the series since 1976. We look forward to another year. This event benefits Team Andre Patzkowski, Aztlan Athletics Foundation (AAF) and LA Parks Foundation. Course Description

The run will start and finish in the same course from previous years in its original format established in 1976. The course has been slightly modified based on the City of Los Angeles Recreation and Parks current guidelines. We will not have any barriers along the route as in previous years.

Event Day Parking

Free self parking is available within the designated areas. Recommended: Arrive early and factor in time for traffic

Race Day Schedule

For this year, all the races will be starting together at 8AM. The forecast is for hot climate and it is recommended that we start races earlier. Therefore, all races will begin at 8AM. NOTE: If we have more than 300 runners in each race category, there will be a female and male heat with 15 minutes apart.

Prize Money

Must be cleared through event director prior to the day of the race. Open $300 - 1st $200 - 2nd $100 - 3rd
