Go Big Today for a Better Tomorrow! Leave the pavement behind, and join us on the trails! With the Baby Backyard Ultra format you will be able to run farther, and have a great time doing it! All the while, you are raising critical funds in support of patients and families experiencing life changing medical conditions. The format is good for walkers, joggers, and even your youngins. ALL $ REGISTRATIONS $ go to Children's MN Cancer Fund. Every single penny.

We will begin at 7 am, on the nose, and we will start a 5K (3.1M). Every hour, on the hour we will start another 5K, until we complete 50K! As long as you can complete 5K in 60 minutes, you will be able to complete the 50K! There are no hard cutoffs until the end of the event. The Baby Backyard ULTRA is a Choose Your Own Adventure event as well. You can come by at any time and run a 5K, or 10K, or swoop in to join us on the final victory lap that will bring us to 50K, whatever distance you want. Knowing we're starting another 5K every hour 6am - 4pm, you'll be able to run the distance you want, at the time that best fits your day. This is a no DNF event, so the distance you cover is up to you, we want to get you to your goal! Finish a 5K and you have an official finish.

Ultra Opportunity! Take your running to the next level with us! Complete an ultra marathon in a format that is built for you to succeed while enjoying every minute! Veteran runners and ultra runners will love the relaxed format and all the story and snack time. Novice runners and budding ultra runners will experience an ambassadorial lean into the next level of running. If you want to come out and cram down some training reps, we've got you. If you have a base you're maintaining, this is it. If you just want to meet some cool people and go run around together like a bunch of kids at play, this is your party. If it's your 1st or 50th, we want you to ultra with us!

“All you can run” option is available for the truly hardcore, limit seekers! We are running aid and managing the course for the duration of the event. So, if you want to take on the course as a continuous 10 hour push to see how far you can go, we will support you in taking that challenge!

Virtual Option By popular demand, we have a virtual option for our friends everywhere to be able to participate in this magical event! If you can't make it to us, set a 5K course of your own and take on the hourly goal, up to 50K! Do it at home on the treadmill, or on the country roads by the cabin, you could even take this to the trails...just know you're making a difference for some amazing kids by participating! All Virtual participants will receive their race day swag via USPS!

Crew, Kids, and Day of Deets We welcome all participants, crew, family, and fans at 5 am. We'll have a primary cover setup at start/finish with water, swag, assorted goodies, and random other snacks. BYO other stuff you'd like. Kids run, ride, walk, hike for FREE!
