The Batsto Village 5K is on Sunday, October 11th. Race starts at 9:30am (Race Day Registration begins at 8:30am). Runners, history buffs, and families will come together for the Batsto Village 5K. Part of the RevolutionNJ Race Series, the event begins at 9:30 a.m. and offers a unique way to engage with New Jersey’s Revolutionary War history. The race route includes the Batsto Village, a nationally recognized historic site. The RevolutionNJ Race Series draws inspiration from Jonas Cattell’s legendary run to warn American troops of a British attack at Red Bank Battlefield. This race is one of six in the series, with additional events planned at Cedar Bridge Tavern, Red Bank Battlefield, Fort Lee Historic Park, Monmouth Battlefield and Princeton Battlefield. Whether running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, participants will experience a race that blends fitness, history, and community celebration. The event offers an interactive way to honor the region's past.
