About the Race

For 2026, the longest race will be the Bear Brook Trail Ultramarathon (50k-100k, distance may vary yearly), and a Half Marathon (13.1 miles). The 10k race has been removed. The course will be released one month before the race date. The event emphasizes the beauty of Bear Brook State Park, including single track, steep uphills, and blueberry fields.

Important Notes:

• NO CUP race: Participants must supply their own water bottles/soft flasks.
• No pets are allowed during the race.
• Crews and pacers are not allowed.

2026 Course Information

The Bear Brook Trail Races will be a GPX only event with minimal to no course markings. Entrants must download and use the course GPX for navigation. The GPX will be made available in advance.

How to Get There

Address: 157 Deerfield Road, Allenstown, NH. Look for the snowmobile lot. Signs will be present on race day.

Cutoffs

No cutoff for half marathon races. Ultramarathon cutoff details will be released with the course.

Dropping Out

Runners unable to complete the race must notify aid station volunteers at the nearest aid station and turn in their bib number. Failure to do so may result in a ban from future races.

Accommodation

Camping is available in the park (book early). Concord, NH (approx. 20 minutes away) and Manchester are the closest major towns.

Refund Policy

Full refund (minus fees) if canceled through Ultrasignup no later than 60 days prior to the race. Within 60 days, fees are forfeited or may be deferred to the following year. Canceling within one week of the race forfeits all fees.
