Race Olympic distance racing on Saturday, September 12th, 2026 in Stokesdale, NC! Participants can choose to race triathlon, duathlon, or aquabike at Belews Lake Carolina Marina.

Belews Lake is an amazing venue for a triathlon, the crystal clear waters and foothill backdrop will mesmerize you and the rolling hills will challenge you! The Belews Lake Triathlon is an Olympic distance event with a time trial start. This early fall date will allow for warmer waters, but pleasant air temps for the run portion of the race. This race is part of the Trivium Multisport Series.

Distances:

• Triathlon: 1500 Meter Swim – 27 Mile Bike – 10 Kilometer Run
• Duathlon: 5 Kilometer Run – 27 Mile Bike – 10 Kilometer Run
• Aquabike: 1500 Meter Swim - 27 Mile Bike

Event Timeline:

• 6:15 AM – Transition Area and check-in open
• 7:15 AM - Water opens for swim warm-ups
• 7:45 AM - Pre race meeting at Transition Area
• 8:00 AM – All Race Start
• 11:00 AM – Projected awards ceremony (will be adjusted based on last finisher’s time)
• 12:30 PM - Course closes
