The Shore Athletic Club hosts the 6th ANNUAL BIG BANG MILE, a USATF-NJ 1 Mile Road Championship Race. The event features a flat, fast USATF certified course on closed roads.

Events Include:

• Masters Men (ages 60+) Mile
• Masters Women (ages 50+) Mile
• Masters Men (ages 50-59) Mile
• Masters Women (ages 40-49) Mile
• Masters Men (ages 40-49) Mile
• High School and Middle School Mile (ages 12-18)
• Open Women Mile
• Open Men Mile
• Community Run/Walk and Youth (U12) Mile
• Fitness Team Mile (Office, Bar, Restaurant, Gym, Fitness Center & Family Teams)
• All Waves Combined (Timing Company Use Only)

Tentative Event Schedule:

• 7:00 AM - Bib and t-shirt pick up
• 8:15 AM - Masters Men (ages 60+) Mile
• 8:35 AM - Masters Women (ages 50+) Mile
• 8:55 AM - Masters Men (ages 50-59) Mile
• 9:10 AM - Masters Women (ages 40-49) Mile
• 9:25 AM - Masters Men (ages 40-49) Mile
• 9:40 AM - High School and Middle School Mile
• 9:55 AM - Open Women Mile
• 10:10 AM - Open Men Mile
• 10:25 AM - Community Run/Walk and U12 Mile
• 10:50 AM - Fitness Team Mile
• 11:15 AM - Awards Ceremony

First 300 registered runners receive a t-shirt.

No animals or headphones allowed in any heat for safety. Strollers allowed only in the Community race.

Awards:

Cash prizes for top Open runners, awards for Masters runners, Age Group awards, and special cash bonuses for breaking records.

Registration:

• $30 - Early bird discount until March 31.
• $35 - April 1 to May 31.
• $40 - Starting June 1.

Registration closes Friday, July 17, 2026. No registration on race day.
