EVENT OVERVIEW
The Big Texas Ultra is a two-day endurance event featuring a 15K on Friday and a 15K, 50K, 100K & 15K RUCK on Saturday in the hills of Central Texas on the Lake Georgetown Rim Trail. The event follows a 15K out & back trail, and a 50K loop beginning and ending at the Russell Park trailhead in Georgetown TX.

The start and finish are located at Russell Park Trailhead (2101 Co Rd 262, Georgetown, TX 78633)
FRIDAY
2:00PM - 4:00PM - Packet Pickup
4:00PM - 15k Friday RUN & RUCK
8:00PM - Cutoff for the 15k (4 hours)
SATURDAY
*RACE BRIEFS 10 MIN. BEFORE EACH RACE.
*Please arrive 30 min. before your start time
*Please consider car pooling, overflow parking is over a half mile walk
6-8AM - Packet Pickup
7AM - 100K Championship START
7:15AM - 100K Non-Competitive START
8:00AM - 50K START
9:00AM - 15K Saturday START
*Only the 100K is required to carry a headlamp. They must take one on their 2nd 50K.

3AM - CUTOFF (20 HOURS)
RUCK:
Weight requirements - If you weigh more than 150 lbs = 30 lb. Ruck - If you weigh less than 150 lbs = 20 lb. Ruck

COURSE OVERVIEW
- Surface: Mix of rocky trail, jeep road & road section (for 50K loopers)
- Course: Goodwater Trail Loop + Out & Back to Country Club Road Crossing
- Elevation: 50K Loop showing 2300' of gain. 15K out & back showing 700' of gain.
- Location: 2101 Co Rd 262, Georgetown, TX 78633
- Weather: Historic Average 50-74 degrees
- No Cup Race: We don't serve cups, please make sure to bring your own water-carrying system!
- Pacer: Only allowed for the 100K for the second 50K loop (Signup Here)
TEXAS ULTRA SERIES
This series spans all across Texas. All the finisher medals from each race combine to make the State of Texas. Anyone who finishes all the races will receive a special wooden case for all the finisher medals. (see 'website' for pictures of the finisher medals)

The Top 7 Males and Top 7 Females that run the farthest distance of a Texas Ultra race will qualify for the Big Texas Ultra 100K Championship near Austin TX for a chance to win thousands of dollars and the Big Texas Ultra Champion Title.

100K Event
You can still run the 100K event without qualifying by registering for the "100K." This will allow you to run and still earn the buckle without competing/earning prize money.
Qualify for 100K Championship
Athletes may qualify for the Big Texas Ultra 100K Championship, competing for thousands of dollars in prize money and the Championship Title, through either of the following methods:
Path 1 – Placement Qualification (Place Top 7 Male or Female in any of the following events):
North Texas Ultra – 100K
West Texas Ultra – 50 Mile
East Texas Ultra – 50K
South Texas Ultra – 50K
Path 2 – Time Qualification (Meet or exceed one of the following time standards at any officiall trail running event):
Men
50K – Under 4 hours
50 Mile – Under 9 hours
100K – Under 11 hours
100 Mile – Under 22 hours
Women
50K – Under 5 hours
50 Mile – Under 11 hours
100K – Under 13 hours
100 Mile – Under 24 hours
Note: Qualification applies only to the Championship 100K division. This does not apply to the standard 100K, 50K, or 15K races.
