Boyden Lake Half-Marathon
Join the Bold Coast Runners and Pottle Tree Farm for the inaugural Boyden Lake Half-Marathon! Whether you run, walk, ruck, or team up for the relay, this event promises a memorable experience for a meaningful cause. Proceeds and fundraising will benefit three incredible organizations: Achilles Freedom Team, House in the Woods of Lee, Maine, and The Travis Mills Foundation.
The Boyden Lake Half-Marathon in Perry, Maine, offers a scenic and serene route encircling Boyden Lake. The start and finish are at Pottle Tree Farm.
Events:
- Boyden Lake Half-Marathon: 13.1 miles. Early Start available. Course time limit is 3.5 hours.
- Boyden Lake Walk: Choose your distance; an out and back 5 miles or 2.5 miles.
- Boyden Lake Ruck: 13.1 miles or 5 miles. Participants must carry a pack of at least 35 pounds.
- Boyden Lake Relay: Complete the Half-Marathon distance with a team of two or three. Leg 1: 5.4 miles, Leg 2: 3.62 miles, Leg 3: 4.22 miles.
- Half-Marathon Para Division: For athletes with disabilities.
Registration Fees:
- Half-Marathon: Early Bird $40, Regular $45, Late $50.
- Half-Marathon 2 Person Relay (per person): Early Bird $30, Regular $35, Race Day $40.
- Ruck: $35 (Dec 1 - Apr 5), $40 (Race Day).
- 5 mile Walk or 2.5mile Walk: Early Bird $27, Regular $32, Race Day $35.
- Para Division: $35 (Until Race Day), $40 (Race Day).
Race Day Timeline:
- 7:30am-8:45am - Check-in/Bib pick-up and Day of Registration
- 8:00am - Early Start for half-Marathoners/Ruck
- 9:00am - Regular Half-Marathon Starts
- 9:15am - 2.5mi/5mi Walk/Ruck Starts
- 11:00am - Potluck Lunch starts
- 11:30am - Tentative awards ceremony
