Break the Bank 50 Miler

This event offers a unique opportunity for runners to challenge their endurance while immersing themselves in Minnesota's breathtaking landscapes. This race is specifically designed by ultrarunners to provide competitors with the perfect combination of speed and beauty. Enjoy the splendid forests, bridges, and craggy rocks of the terrain carved out by the last ice age, while never needing to worry about your footing. Spots are limited so secure your place at the starting line and experience Minnesota’s fastest and most scenic ultra!

The course is nearly flat for the first 40 miles, with a significant downhill finish featuring a 500-foot drop over the last 10 miles. The finish line is at the historic Bank House in Duluth.

• 50 Mile Solo
• 50 Mile 2 Person Relay
• 50 Mile 5 Person Relay

Start Time: Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 8:00 AM CT

Registration Closes: Monday, October 5, 2026, at 11:59 PM CT

Cut-off Time: 12 hours for official finishers.

Aid Stations: Eleven aid stations will be available along the course.

Relay Exchanges: Five running legs with four exchange zones.

Transportation: Transportation will be provided from the finish line to the start line.

Prize Money: $5,000 for new 50-mile American bests. Additional prizes for top 3 finishers in the open division.

Race Swag: Race medals, race shirt, and a chance to win prizes from safety deposit boxes at the finish line.
