Join us for the Cancer Active Trail Race on Saturday, May 9, 2026. This event supports cancer patients in maintaining active lifestyles during and after treatment.

Race Details

• Date: Saturday, May 9, 2026
• Start Time: 5k race begins at 9:00 AM. Virtual Race submission deadline: May 9, 2026, 5:00 PM ET.
• Location: 191 Vance Avenue, Black Mountain, NC
• Races Offered: 5k Trail Race, Virtual 5K
• Packet Pickup: May 8 (4pm-6pm at Mountain Running Company) and May 9 (7:30am-8:30am at the race site).
• Timing: Not chip-timed. Overall prize winners for in-person 5k.
• Course Safety: Volunteers will guide runners; stay on designated trails. Earphones allowed at low volume.
• Medical: Aid stations with first-aid kits and medical professionals. Note medical considerations on bib.
• Spectators: Welcomed along the route; must be considerate and follow volunteer instructions.
• Swag: Race t-shirt for runners registered by the deadline; limited availability for late/race day registrants.
• Transfer/Withdrawal/Deferral: Bibs can be transferred or entries deferred to next year. No refunds.
